Pathways to Independence of Central Ohio is a nonprofit agency dedicated to providing mentorship and job placement for individuals with disabilities, including recent high school graduates and young adults, in Columbus, Ohio, and surrounding areas. At Pathways to Independence, we strive to create meaningful employment opportunities for young adults with disabilities that align with their unique skills and interests. Our mission is to empower individuals to enhance their lives and contribute to their communities through active career participation.

In Ohio, more than 30,000 working-age adults with developmental disabilities access adult services, with most of these services offered in segregated environments. Data from the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities reveals that only 24% of working-age adults in Ohio benefit from integrated employment services, highlighting the need for job placement for disabilities. Everyone deserves the chance to find meaningful employment.
